Riga Sea Line Ferries

Riga Sea Line provides a service up to four times weekly between Riga, Latvia and Stockholm, Sweden.

The journey from Riga to Stockholm will take 17 hours, 30 minutes and crossings run every Monday and Wednesday, with additional sailings on Fridays every even week and Saturdays every odd week. Sailings from Stockholm to Riga depart every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and each crossing is onboard the Baltic Kristina Ferry.

Built in 1973 in Finland, the Baltic Kristina was used to transport passengers and cargo in the Nordic region. Major renovation was carried out in 1997 and the interior of the ship was drastically changed allowing passenger capacity to increase and also adding conference rooms.

The Baltic Kristina was bought by Riga Sea Lines on October 10 2002 and its service in accordance with all international safety regulations. There are nine decks onboard and the vessel has a capacity of 512 passengers. There is a specially equipped salon onboard for comfortable seating and 195 cabins for sleeping. As for entertainment and refreshment there is an a la Carte restaurant, two bars, a live music area, casino, duty-free shopping, sauna and slot machines.

Disabled passengers are catered for with onboard lifts and wheelchair access all round and disabled toilets. If required, staff will provide assistance on boarding as well as any additional requirements on board.

Riga Sea Lines provide transport services for groups of three or more to air, rail and bus links in Riga as well as any other destinations in Latvia and the Baltic region as well as transport back to the passenger terminal afterwards. The passenger terminal in Riga has good facilities, including shops, restaurants, snack bars and public telephones. There are also disabled toilets and good wheelchair access.
